14th Symposium of History & Art

Momemvasiotikos Homilos is in the pleasant
position to announce that the
14th Symposium of History and Art will be
organized in Monemvasia from 6 to 8 July 2001, 
with the collaboration of the
Greek Institute in Venice.

Scholars wishing to present papers within the theme of 
this year's Symposium are kindly requested to notify 
the Organizing Committee not later than 15 May 2001 
stating the title and including a brief summary.
The communications should be original, unpublished and 
up to 20' in length.  The Organizing Committee reserves 
the right to decide if and which papers will be 
accepted. Priority will be given to scholars not
having participated in recent Symposia.  Papers
can be presented either in Greek, Italian or English.

Accommodation and transportation from and to
Athens by a specially hired coach can be offered to the 
speakers.  There is no subscription fee for the 
Sympoisum, which is open to anyone interested.  
Non-speakers are expected to make their own 
arrangements as to accommodation and transport.
