Dear Colleagues:

I apologize in advance to those of you who may have received this
message already.

I am writing on behalf of the Erasmus of Rotterdam Society to solicit
proposals for papers on any aspect of the life and work of Erasmus, for
the 2003 Sixteenth Century Studies Conference, to be held in Pittsburgh
from 30 October to 2 November. The Society hopes to sponsor at least
two panels at the conference, and particularly welcomes proposals from
younger scholars who are engaged in research on Erasmus. If you have an
interest in participating, please respond to carringt@stolaf.edu, and
let me know what you have in mind. If you yourself are not in a
position to present but know of someone who might be interested, I would
appreciate hearing from you as well.

Thank you,
