"Petrarch and His Legacy in the European Renaissance"
Central Renaissance Conference
Saint Louis University
St. Louis, Missouri
September 24-25, 2004

In honor of the seven hundredth anniversary of Petrarch's birth, The
Saint Louis University Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies
invites abstracts from every discipline on any topic related to the
English or Continental European Renaissance. Abstracts should be about
a hundred words in length and should arrive at the Center for Medieval
and Renaissance Studies no later than May 1, 2004. The conference theme
is meant only to encourage, not limit the topic of submissions. Papers
unrelated to Petrarch will receive equal consideration. The conference
will be held at Saint Louis University's newly renovated, award winning
Busch Student Center, with a reception at the neo-Romanesque Cupples
House and Museum.

Abstracts should be sent to:
