MID-ATLANTIC SEMINAR
IN EARLY MODERN PHILOSOPHY

November 6-7, 2004




The third annual meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Seminar in Early Modern
Philosophy will be held at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ over the
weekend of 6-7 November 2004.

The Mid-Atlantic Seminar is an informal group, formed to foster interaction
among scholars of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century philosophy.  Papers on
any subject in early modern philosophy (roughly, the period from Montaigne to
Kant) are welcome.  Reading times should be roughly 45 minutes.

Please submit abstracts of 1-3 pages (NOT the entire paper) to Martha Bolton,
<mbolton@rci.rutgers.edu>. (Please do not send submissions by replying to
this email.)  Deadline for submissions is September 10, 2004.  Details on the
program and accommodations will be available by October 1, 2004.

Email submissions are very strongly encouraged.
