Address:
Neven Jovanović
Department of Classical Philology
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
University of Zagreb

Further information:

My field of research is Croatian Latin literature (that is, literature
written in Latin by Croatian authors), mainly in 15-16th and 18th
centuries. I am interested not only in les belles lettres, but also in the
genres which are today perceived as non-literary. From 2007 I lead a
research project "Digitizing Croatian Latin authors", dedicated to
creating a digital library / archive / working environment, freely
accessible over the internet, to stimulate research on Croatian Latin
literature (and, hopefully, Neo-Latin and Latin literature in general).

I will shut down the old email distribution list - which was in its functionality de facto replaced by this forum here more than a year ago - sometime in early autumn.
Some of the members of said list have decided to become members here. And they are welcome.

Thanks in advance to each of them (you!) who uses this thread here to introduce herself/himself!

Just to add to what Heinrich included about me: because I am currently reviews editor for Renaissance Quarterly, I would be interested in any information about books that should be reviewed, and offers to review (we only print reviews in English, I'm afraid...)

My project at the Jan van Eyck Academie concerns Michel Foucault's late lecture courses at Collčge de France, and I'm currently translating his "Le Gouvernement de soi et des autres" into Swedish. I'm an editor of Site Magazine, and despite the fact that the journal is rather devoted to contemporary philosophy (as well as art, cinema, and architecture), feel free to contact me through the forum if you have any suggestions for books to review or texts to submit.
