The 2011 Thomas Harriot Seminar will be held at Hatfield College,
University of
Durham, on the 16-18 December. Speakers this year are: Michael Edwards
(University
of Cambridge), Stephen Pumfrey (University of Lancaster), Patrizia Grimaldi
(University of Siena), Mark Nicholls (University of Cambridge), Harvey
Sheldon
(Birkbeck, University of London) and Gordon R. Batho (University of Durham,
Emeritus).

The Thomas Harriot Seminar is dedicated to the life and times of the
Elizabethan
mathematician and natural philosopher Thomas Harriot (1560-1621).
