From https://warburg.sas.ac.uk/about/news/dr-sara-miglietti-appointed-lectureship-cul tural-and-intellectual-history :
We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Dr Sara Miglietti to the lectureship in Cultural and Intellectual History. She will join us as a Visiting Fellow from the beginning of March to the end of June and will take up her new post on 1 July 2018.

She earned both a PhD in the History of Philosophy from the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa and a PhD in Renaissance Studies at the University of Warwick

Dr Miglietti works at the intersection of political thought, moral philosophy and the natural sciences: these fields come together in her monograph (forthcoming in CUP’s Ideas in Context series) on The Empire of Climate. She also works on book history, translation and reception studies, and is preparing both a multilingual edition of Bodin’s Six livres de la République and a large-scale study of the phenomenon of ‘self-translation’ in early modern Europe.
